| A beginners guide to Radio Production.

The aim of this course is to get some experience of producing content for radio and to get a finished CD demo of your projects. You will also gain an understanding of the jobs available.

Week one looks at the various roles and jobs within the radio industry. This week also sets out the first project and takes a close look at making a commercial, a feature or a phone-in show. We also listen to past students work and finish the class with some practical exercises in Digital editing, using Adobe Audition.brbr

Your tutors: Tony Wilson has 25 years experience working for BBC Radio 1. brbr Chris Lycett has over 30 years experience working for BBC radio. Chris also worked for 10 years as editor and producer for BBC Radio 1. In 1984 he was responsible for the Radio 1 broadcast of Live Aid in which he received a Sony Gold Award.brbr |
